Andrea D'Amico is Executive Producer at Eden FX. She joined the company in 2004 to head up Eden's feature film department. In that time she has overseen production of visual effects for such features as Superman Returns, Spider-Man 3, The Last Mimzy, Across the Universe, Get Smart and Nim's Island.

Andrea began her career as a digital artist in New York City. During that time she gained invaluable experience in the field of visual effects for advertising.

Pursuing her passion for film and animation, Andrea next became a partner in the New York film optical company, EFX Unlimited, where she ran the art department. She wore many hats including animation camera operator, title designer and creator of optical effects for features and documentaries.

In 1984 Andrea joined the creative boutique house Charlex, N.Y. Again she played several roles, as producer, designer and camera operator. At Charlex Andrea was able to translate her film optical background to digital video visual effects while contributing to award winning projects for television.

In 1990 Andrea became visual effects producer for C.I.S. Hollywood where she was part of the team involved in the pioneering efforts of digital effects for feature films and the inception of EFILM.

In 1993 Andrea joined Pacific Ocean Post to establish a high-end commercial presence. With the success of this department she moved on to start the company’s feature film visual effects unit, P.O.P. Film. As Executive Producer, Andrea oversaw work for such features as "Independence Day", "Titanic" and "What Dreams May Come". Through P.O.P.'s transition to R!OT, Andrea continued to develop the company's film department with such projects as Universal's Scorpion King and Revolution Studios The One. In 2002 Andrea became VP Visual Effects for parent company Ascent Media. Projects included Twentieth Century Fox's Terminator 3, Warner Bros' League of Extraordinary Gentlemen and HBO Film's Angels in America.

Andrea's education includes a degree in Fine Art from Colgate University and a Masters in Psychology from University of Santa Monica.
